ThePicuki started with a simple frustration. Instagram makes it hard to look at public content without an account, and the viewer sites people relied on, Picuki above all, either stopped working or filled up with popups, fake download buttons and "sample data" that was never real. We wanted one site that does the job honestly.
ThePicuki is built and run by Umar Farooq, an independent web developer. It is not a company backed by investors, and it is not connected to Instagram, Meta, TikTok or the original Picuki. When you write to us, a person reads it.
How the Tools Work
When you search, your browser asks our server for that public profile, post or list. Our server fetches the public data from Instagram or TikTok through trusted data services, turns it into one simple format, and sends it back to your browser. Images and videos are passed through our own domain so they load reliably and so your device never talks to Instagram directly.
Because the request comes from our server, your Instagram account is never involved. That is why story owners never see your name, and why we never need your password.
The Rules We Never Break
- Real data or an honest message. We never show demo, sample or invented results. If Instagram is limiting requests, the page tells you.
- Public content only. We do not offer, and will never pretend to offer, access to private accounts.
- No passwords, no accounts. The site has no login, and we never ask for your Instagram or TikTok details.
- No popups. No popups, popunders, redirect ads, countdown timers or fake download buttons.
- No invented numbers. We do not publish made up user counts, ratings or reviews.
- Your searches are yours. We do not keep a record of what you look up.
How ThePicuki Is Funded
The tools are free. The site pays for its servers and data services with light, clearly labelled advertising placed away from the tool boxes and download buttons. We do not sell data about visitors, and we do not have paid plans.
Respecting Creators
Photos and videos belong to the people who made them. Our downloaders are for personal use, reference and offline viewing. If you own content and want our tools to stop loading it, email picukithe@gmail.com with the link and we will act within 72 hours. Read more in our terms of service.
