What is ThePicuki?
ThePicuki is a free website for viewing and downloading public Instagram and TikTok content without an account. You type a username or paste a link, and the public profile, story, post, list or video opens in your browser.
Is ThePicuki the original Picuki?
No. ThePicuki is an independent site built after the original Picuki stopped working as an Instagram viewer. We are not affiliated with Picuki, Instagram, Meta or TikTok, and we never use their logos as our own.
Is ThePicuki really free?
Yes. Every tool is free, with no premium plan and no daily limit set by us. The site is paid for by light, clearly labelled advertising that never covers the tools.
Who runs ThePicuki?
ThePicuki is built and run by Umar Farooq. You can read more on the About page and reach us through the contact form.
Which tools are available?
Profile, story, post, reels and highlights viewers, followers, following and likes lists, a full-size profile picture viewer, a hashtag viewer, photo and video downloaders, a TikTok viewer, a TikTok downloader and a basic photo editor. The full list is on the homepage.
Privacy and safety
Will people know I viewed their profile or story?
No. Our servers fetch public content without your account, so your name cannot appear in a story viewer list, and Instagram does not notify anyone when a profile, post or list is viewed.
Do I need to give my Instagram password?
Never. ThePicuki has no login form and never asks for your Instagram or TikTok password. Any viewer site that asks for your password is trying to take over your account. Close it.
Do you store the usernames I search?
No. We do not keep a record of the usernames, links or hashtags you look up. Public results are cached for a short time so a repeat search loads faster, but the cache is not linked to you and expires on its own. Details are in the privacy policy.
Is ThePicuki safe to use?
We keep it simple on purpose: no account, no password, no software to install, no popups and no redirect ads. The only things that run on the page are the tools themselves, optional analytics and clearly marked ads.
Why do some viewer sites open new tabs or show several download buttons?
Some sites earn money from aggressive ads that open new tabs or imitate download buttons. ThePicuki does not use popups, popunders, redirect ads or fake buttons, and never will.
Private accounts
Can ThePicuki show a private Instagram account?
No. A private account shares its posts, stories and follower lists only with followers it approves, and Instagram enforces that on its own servers. ThePicuki only shows public content.
What about sites that say they can open private accounts?
They cannot. Those offers usually lead to surveys, paid apps or login pages that steal passwords. Read our honest guide: Can Picuki view private profiles?
Can I see the profile picture of a private account?
Usually yes, because Instagram shows profile pictures to everyone. The Profile Picture Viewer shows it at full size and labels the account as private.
Using the tools
Do I type the @ symbol?
No. Type the username on its own, for example natgeo. If you paste @natgeo or a full profile link, the tool removes the extra parts for you.
Which links do the post tools accept?
Instagram post links (/p/), Reel links (/reel/) and video links (/tv/), copied from the share menu or the browser address bar. TikTok tools accept tiktok.com video links and short vm.tiktok.com links.
Why does a story not show up?
Stories disappear 24 hours after posting. If an account has no active story, the tool says so. A story posted a few minutes ago can take a short time to become visible to outside services. Saved stories live in the Highlights Viewer.
Can I see who someone followed most recently?
No. Instagram does not give outside services follow dates or a reliable newest first order. The followers and following viewers show the current list as Instagram returns it, without inventing a timeline.
Does ThePicuki work on phones?
Yes. Every page is built for phones first and works in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, tablets and computers. There is nothing to install.
Downloads
What quality are downloads?
Photos and videos download in the best quality Instagram or TikTok serves for that post. We do not compress the file again and we never add a watermark.
Where do downloaded files go?
To your browser's downloads. On iPhone, open the Files app and look in Downloads. On Android, check the Downloads folder or the recent items in your gallery.
Can I download a whole profile at once?
No. Downloads are one file at a time, which keeps the tools fast and fair to creators. Open each post you need and use its download button.
Can I repost what I download?
Only with the creator's permission. Downloads are meant for personal use, reference and offline viewing. Photos, videos and music belong to the people who made them.
Errors and limits
Why do I see "Instagram is limiting requests right now"?
Instagram limits how many requests outside services can make in a short time. When that happens, the tool shows this message instead of fake results. Waiting a minute and trying again usually works.
Why does the tool say an account was not found?
The username is usually misspelled, the account changed its handle, or it was deactivated. Copy the handle exactly as it appears on Instagram and try again.
Will I ever see sample or demo results?
No. ThePicuki shows real public data or an honest message explaining why it cannot. If Instagram is down for a moment and we have a recent copy of a popular profile, we show it with a clear note saying when it was saved.
I found a bug. How do I report it?
Thank you. Use the contact form, choose "Report a problem with a tool", and tell us the tool and what you saw. Please do not include anyone's private information.
Copyright and removal
I own content shown through ThePicuki. Can I ask for removal?
Yes. Email picukithe@gmail.com or use the contact form with the link to your content and a short explanation. We reply within 72 hours, and we can block our tools from loading specific content.
Does ThePicuki host Instagram or TikTok content?
No. We do not keep a library of posts. Content is fetched from Instagram or TikTok when a visitor asks for it, shown for that visit, and cached briefly so repeat requests are fast. Removing a post on Instagram also removes it from ThePicuki once the short cache expires.
