Looking back, the features people loved about Picuki were never complicated. They wanted to see a public profile without creating an account. They wanted to watch a story without their name appearing in the viewer list. They wanted to save a photo at a usable size instead of taking a screenshot. And they wanted all of that to work on a phone, in a normal browser, in a few seconds.

None of that has changed. What changed is how much work it takes behind the scenes to deliver it, now that Instagram guards public data more closely.
